Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By installing, accessing or using Komorebi, an app developed by Fábio Santos, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Komorebi is

Komorebi is a camera app for iOS and Android, with photographic capture, conditional manual controls, LUTs, effects, EXIF and a built-in gallery.

• RAW or ProRAW, Live Photo, portrait and Camera Control depend on iOS and compatible hardware.
• Projects, volume buttons, GPS, weather and EXIF Frame also depend on the conditions described in the documentation.
• Local gallery depth is experimental on iOS. Compatibility with Portrait controls in Photos depends on the file, device and system.

3. Requirements and limitations

• iOS 18 or later.
• Android 8 or later.
• A camera is required for the main experience.
• A physical device is recommended; simulators do not reproduce all features.

4. Permissions

• Camera for preview and capture.
• Photos for saving, organizing, reading metadata, rating, sharing, editing depth and deleting when requested.
• Location while using the app for GPS, weather and locality.

5. Permitted use

• Capture, process and organize personal or professional photos.
• Apply included LUTs and import properly licensed .cube files.
• Generate EXIF Frame and share images.

6. Prohibited use

• Violating privacy, image rights, copyright or intellectual property laws.
• Taking photos without authorization where it is required.
• Using unlicensed files.
• Exploiting bugs, bypassing permissions or harming services and devices.
• Misleading users about the authorship or origin of modified versions.

7. User content

Your photos remain yours. You are responsible for consent, image rights, licenses, GPS review and backups. Files may be lost through deletion, device failure, permissions or the operating system.

8. Third-party services

Open-Meteo, BigDataCloud, Leaflet, OpenStreetMap, unpkg, the EXIF Frame generator, Notion, Sentry, PostHog and external links have their own terms and policies. The Komorebi team does not control their availability or practices.

9. Intellectual property

Names, icons, images, text, visual identity and original materials belong to their respective authors. Imported LUTs are the user's responsibility.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Komorebi is provided as is, without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility, accuracy, perfect file preservation or availability of external services.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the team is not liable for lost photos, accidental GPS exposure, hardware or system failures, third-party services, misuse, indirect damages or lost profits.

12. Updates

Updates may add, change or remove features, permissions, integrations, legal text and compatibility. Continued use indicates acceptance of the updated version.

13. Ending use

You may stop using the app and uninstall it. Uninstalling removes private depth backups and may remove preferences, but saved photos may remain in the library.

14. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law, including, where applicable, the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet, the LGPD and the Consumer Protection Code.
